The conference will focus on policy and research, recovery focused rural behavioral health care, consumer and family voice/diversity and culture, telehealth and advanced technology, rural behavioral health workforce development, and innovative practices and programs for adults, children, and families. Experts from a number of fields will speak; these include Alan Morgan of the National Rural Health Association, Jack Westfall, the creator of the Rural Track at the University of Colorado Medical School, Mike Rossman, an expert in agricultural behavioral health, Julia Bryan of the Office of Rural Health Policy, and Colleen Coffey, an Active Minds, college mental health expert. There will be over 35 break-out sessions and preconference workshops that allow you to participate in a Mental Health First Aid certificate training, as well as a social event.
