On December 27-30, 2009, the 125th Annual Modern Language Association (MLA) will hold their 125th annual convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Attendees will include MLA members, and people involved in the study or teaching of language and literature and they will have the opportunity to take part in several activities. There's something for everyone from the graduate student lounge where students can meet for discussion to the Job Information Center where members can look for or be interviewed for jobs.
In addition, over 110 exhibitors will be in attendance with materials for teachers of language and literature. Also, the editor of the MLA International Bibliography will be at the MLA exhibit booth on the 28th and 29th from 10:00 AM - noon. Staff members will also be at the booth to discuss the MLA website and to answer questions.
