The Rentacomputer CARES Scholarship

Rentacomputer.com is currently taking applications for its new scholarship program, which is a part of the Rentacomputer CARES Initiative.

The Rentacomputer Cares Scholarship annually awards $2,000 to a student who demonstrates strong academic and career goals and a keen sense of goal planning. Applicants must currently be enrolled or planning to attend college within the next 12 months and must submit an application before May 30th to be awarded the scholarship for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. Those who are chosen as Finalists will be contacted during the first week of June to possibly be asked more questions, and the recipient will be announced on or before July 1st.

Here Is How To Apply: To apply, email your application to scholarships@rentacomputer.com. Be sure to include all of the following in the body of your email:

• Your Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Address
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• High School
• Graduation Year (from high school)
• College you are (or plan on) attending

The applicant must also include an essay of no more than 500 words describing your academic and career goals, either in the body or as an attachment. The essay is the most important aspect of the application, and applicants are advised to take care in writing it. Applicants must also have and maintain a GPA of 2.5 through college to remain eligible for the scholarship.
