July 31 - August 2, 2010, the BIA Remodel it Right Expo will take place at the Hawaii Convention Center. Over 25,000 people are expected to be in attendance. This is the 4th annual show produced by the BIA-Hawaii Remodelers. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry experts, attend educational seminars, and learn about planning, building, and home remodeling. This year's theme is "Seek Professional Help Before its Too Late."
The Building Industry Association of Hawaii was chartered in 1955. At that time, the state was still a territory with an agricultural economy. A few visionary men knew statehood would be coming soon and the economy would grow. They recognized the importance of the building industry in all of this and knew it was important to bond together to promote growth in the home building and construction industries. Today, BIA-Hawaii is a professional Trade Organization affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders. They represent the Hawaiian building industry and its associates and work to enhance the "quality of life for the people of Hawaii."
